When the glass is shown at her feet, she is wearing socks

Tale

After witnessing a bizarre, traumatic incident involving a patient, a psychiatrist becomes increasingly convinced that she is being threatened by a strange entity. Days before the September 30, 2022 release, the cast of the film showed up at various baseball games, standing behind home plate, motionless and smiling as they stared into the camera, motionless despite the fans in the audience being concerned, while wearing Smile T -shirts. Another soon appeared in the background with the crowd during the Today show.. At about the 31-minute mark, Rose breaks a glass when her alarm goes off. A few seconds later, while checking the door, she is wearing lace-up shoes. Based on what happens later at a later party, there are several continuity issues that may not be "mistakes"; but it may actually be deliberate to show "breaks" in Rose's consciousness/sanity..

That actually gave me chills

It's been a long time since I've seen a horror movie this good. The story is a bit clichéd at times, but it’s well written and well done for the most part. The acting is also great, which isn’t always a common thing when it comes to horror movies. It’s very well directed and the atmosphere is really eerie. The first girl who died in the movie had probably the most unsettling smile I’ve ever seen in my entire life. Especially when the therapist started seeing her in the dark like a hallucination.

The pacing of the movie was excellent

Then there were some smiles that weren’t really scary, like the patient Carl. It got creepier and creepier as the story progressed. The ending was really etched in my brain and I actually thought I was going to have nightmares that night, which doesn’t happen to me very often. The day after I saw this movie, a car drove by me and the old man driving looked at me and smiled... The only thing I could think about was this movie. This was Parker Finn’s first feature film.

A good start to his writing/directing career

I really hope he makes more movies like this. Well done!
