A maniac named Art the Clown terrorizes two friends on Halloween and anyone who gets in his way. David Howard Thornton was the sixth person to audition for Art The Clown after Mike Giannelli retired from the role and acting altogether. During the audition, he began miming by tasting the blood of his decapitated victim, but then added salt to make it taste better.

In the footage where Tara is gagged with tape, the tape apparently makes no contact with her lower mouth in some earlier shots, while it is tightly around both of her lips in other shots. If you like gory old school psycho horror this is a must see. "Terrifier" has no interest in being clever, satirical or post-modern, it just wants to wear its mean and bloody grindhouse heart on its sleeve, and good for that. Art the Clown, Pennywise and the Killer Clowns are just some of the comical creatures that give us goosebumps.
